Here is a little background on how it all got started.  After several years of doing lawn care, I decided to take some training offered by the Kansas Arborist Association in Manhattan, Ks.  I learned the basics there, and then began studying other arborist books and material.  I realized that some of  pruning practices that I have been seeing were wrong, and many people don’t know the difference.  I invite you to check out the information pages that I have on this site, as many of them come from International Society of Arboraculture bulletins and are very informative.

I began my business with just a pickup and trailer, hauling limbs to a dump site.  As the business grew, it became apparent that I needed a faster means of getting rid of brush.  I then purchased a brush chipper and chip truck. I do all of the climbing myself,  and have  2 fulltime employees to help with the ground work.  I added stump grinding to my list of services in the Spring of ’10. 

In January of 2011 I took the training to that I needed to become a Certified Arborist. I passed the test, and my Certification # is MW5135A.  This year I also added tree cabling and bracing as a service.  We now have the equipment to secure trees with cracks and/or weak crotches, or brace weak branches.

I try to understand exactly what you as a client want to see when I am finished with the job, and can give pointers as to what would be the best option in your situation.  We take pride in our work, and stand behind our “Satisfaction Guarantee.” Business has continued to grow, with the majority of it coming from referrals and repeat clients.  I have met many outstanding people in this community, and am glad I can be of service to my clients.
